THEME: Bringing back Painting Class with optimistic and vibrant Japanese City Pop !

• Japanese City Pop is a genre of music that originated in Japan that incorporates elements of funk, jazz, and soul, and is characterized by its catchy melodies, smooth vocals, and upbeat rhythms
• The music reflects the optimism and excitement of the rapid economic growth and urbanization in Japan, featuring lyrics about love, relationship & city life.
• Japanese City Pop has also influenced art, particularly in the realm of visual art and graphic design. The colourful and vibrant aesthetics of City Pop, with its emphasis on neon lights, cityspcapes and fashion. In particular, the album covers of City Pop records often feature striking and eye-catching designs, with bold typography, geometric shapes and bright colours.

ABOUT PAINTING CLASS with SZAFONI:

The Painting Class event is hosted at Triple Two Coffee Shop, Royal Wharf in London. Lasts ~2,5h hours, it's not only painting class but 2,5h of relaxation and creativity with themed music you can dance to. Come down and enjoy a drink or two~, as you be able to connect with local residents, make new friends and paint the night away! At the end of the class, you will take home a piece of art that you have created and hopefully a newfound passion!

• Who Is It For?

Absolutely no experience is required !!!

You will be guided by the artist to create an original canvas painting.

No undergae allowed to join the event.

• Are there any items I need to purchase?

We’ll provide you with everything you need to create your masterpiece. You will also get one glass of prosecco! 

Apart from that, Triple Two Coffee shop offers a variety of beverages and food. There will be plenty of opportunities to purchase extra alcoholic beverages, coffees or snacks!

• Your Painting Class experience will include:

1. All art supplies – including paint, brushes, canvas and apron.
2. Guidance from a practising artist – but feel free to go off-piste!
3. A themed playlist to immerse you in your experience.
4. A wide range of wines, cocktails, beers and non-alcoholic options are available for purchase at Triple Two bar.
5. Your canvas is yours to keep. Hang it with pride!

• How and when should I book a ticket?

The event will be hosted throughout the Autumn season, on Fridays and Saturdays.

It is required to Book Online to secure your spot as a limited space of 10 sits is only available.

** Arriving on time is also required, as otherwise, you will miss the beginning of the class.
